Jack Tighe established the company in 1954, following a successful cycling career in which he represented his country on the track and was selected for the Olympic Games. The business began with Jack and an apprentice; we have since grown into one of the largest painting contractors in the UK. The Company conduct operations nationwide and have painted many iconic structures including The Millennium Stadium, Wembley Stadium, The London Eye, HMS Ark Royal and The Kelpies.

Tighe Group consists of four companies: Jack Tighe Ltd, Jack Tighe Scunthorpe Ltd, Jack Tighe Coatings Ltd and Jack Tighe Decorating Ltd. The companies are run by an experienced management team, most of whom joined the company as trainees and progressed into senior roles. We invest in structured training and development for our employees, ensuring their skills, knowledge and experience are retained within the business.

With our head office based in Lincolnshire, Jack Tighe Ltd are specialists in on-site industrial painting, UHP water jetting, blast clean methods and applying specialised coatings. We work in many sectors including: • Marine • Rail • Highways • Defence • Petrochemical • Energy • Construction
