The first Future of Steel Construction conference was held on 13 November 2025 at The Mermaid, London. The event was designed to bring together industry experts, leaders, and professionals from across the steel construction sector to explore the challenges and opportunities shaping the future of steel.

Attendees gained valuable insights into: Second Generation Eurocode Updates, Structural Engineering for Fire, Sustainability and Design Efficiency. In addition, delegates learnt about merging practices such as Hybrid Design and Construction, Cut and Carve, and Refurbishment and Reuse through innovative case studies.
